4000 mile week to kick off the return from home time

On my last couple weeks here — got a Mon-Fri day shift, home daily job offer that I couldn’t pass up on.
Absolutely enjoyed my time at Schuster and it’ll be the first place I call if I ever get the itch to hit the road again. Even after putting my notice in, they’ve been super friendly about it. Dispatcher said he’d gladly be a reference for me any time, and they’re even giving me the courtesy of a route home to clean the truck out so I can fly home.
For the meantime, en route to Irvine, CA for a Monday deliverySpeedy356, FullMetalJacket, hotrod1653 and 7 others Thank this. -
Good luck on your journey and congrats on the new gig. I’m hoping they will issue your Kenworth to me lol.Friend Thanks this.

Appreciate it! If you want to PM your truck number, I’ll ask my dispatcher if it’s possible to make that happen. I doubt it, but doesn’t hurt to ask.
Pulls a little to the right and goes through a half gallon of coolant every 10k miles, but that’s all that’s wrong with ‘erhotrod1653, Friend, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
Well, two week notice got cut down to a 1 week. Schuster decided that I don’t get my yearly longevity bonus because my 2 week notice is in. They get all the profits from the 140,000+ miles I’ve ran in the last year, with zero late arrivals, and zero safety issues. But… I don’t get my longevity bonus because I did the professional thing and gave a notice? Crazy stuff.
Will not rag on them too much, but that seems a bit low class. Can understand not paying out PTO to someone quitting, but a bonus that was earned and they reaped all the profits from being pulled away after receiving a pay stub for it and everything is crazy.
Was great working and chatting with you all, and would still recommend Schuster to any of you all considering them. Would just advise against giving a notice of resignation, since doing the right thing here just gets you penalized. Sad stuffRugerfan, Lonesome, Suspect Zero and 1 other person Thank this. -

False alarm. Apparently the bonus is a paper check. Please disregard previous messages lol.
FullMetalJacket, Lonesome, SlowPokeHauler and 2 others Thank this. -
Paper checks... I think I remember those, but I'm ancient
Lonesome and Thrasher28 Thank this.
