At a Walmart somewhere in the north east. Should be loading a California load in the morning with a direct return to the east coast.
Air conditioner is out so I am dealing with it tonight and will probably hotel it until I get to CA where I'll get it fixed on a reset and unload and reload Monday. I really hope this load doesn't cancel as it's pretty good.
Stocked up on 84 12 ounce bottles of water, a few powerades and enough food to make it through the week. I've got to quit the soda crap. I redid my physical on Thursday and only got a one year card because of my BP. Time to take care of me a bit more and not just my family and wallet.

I went most of last summer with no a/c running a lot of southwest.. and twice into that record heat they had in the northwest. Not sure where you're headed in cali but there is a couple of great sleeping areas even without a/c. Flagstaff and Tehachapi were my favorite parking spots.

Well I start my journey with crst on August 8th in Birmingham. Gave my current employer my abbreviated 2 week notice today. Eager to get started on the next phase of my journey.

Today I ripped my shorts right in the crouch climbing my trailer. But thats not the highlight of my day, for 2 weeks fustrated I questioned my driving and parking skills wondering why I'm having a tough time driving and parking a 48' flatbed. After ignoring all the signs today someone said you have you need new shorts and nice 53' flatbed trailer you got there.....shaking my head!

Delivered this morning in California and my reload east wouldn't be ready for a few days so I grabbed a 13,500 pound tarped load with a stop in UT and a stop in Idaho. $2150 on 1000 miles. I've never had an issue getting out of this area so that doesn't concern me. Hopefully the fire won't effect my abilities to deliver.
Lonesome, 410TruckGrinder and 88 Alpha Thank this.
