Does anyone know what could possibly cause my Alternator to move and start touching this bar.

Could be anything really. Loose/broken alternator mounts, broken engine mounts etc. Could even be broken rad mounts making the rad shift. Gotta start inspecting stuff, shouldn't be too hard to find the source.

Thanks. I'm doing a 34 reset today and I noticed it. I didn't really notice anything on top that was loose or missing,so I'm going to crawl up under the truck and see what I can find.

Not sure but look under FT. of motor at lower side of crank pulleys for 2 large bolts going thru 4 big rubber bushings to see if bolts are broken but with hood open try to start off real easy in gear and watch if alt. hits rad. support bar?

I dont think the alternator fins hit that bar. Check for bolts backed out or missing front the timing cover.

Getting crossed up on rough ground will twist a frame all up. Put your front wheel on a curb and the hood may not even open, for instance.
