im nowhere near new, and certianly not new to tight areas and that place sucked! 90% of the lights inside dont work so while your going through all them #### curves you cant see anything in the mirrors but blackness :biggrin_2552:. I was happy to see the dock was very easy to back into though.

You know what sucks about this load?

It delivers less the 2 miles from my apartment....but i was 45 min short on hours to get there this morning :biggrin_2553: So instead of sitting at home enjoying the day, i've spent all day at this pilot lol. I really hate the HOS sometimes....ok all the time but more sometimes then others...

Got the load delivered, made it back to conover, came home for the night. The only load dispatch had, i didnt have enough hours left for the day to do, it was a 1st thing delivery in North Jerzy tomorrow morning, so i'm home waiting for a call with a load tomorrow.

I turned in 4300 miles today Over $1,700 in 3 trip envelopes!

The Sams Club DC is Charlotte is AWESOME, Walmart should take notes!.

At Wally world you sit in line at a gate to get in, while wally world and dedicaded drivers use the left lane and get right in holding you back.

At Sams Club, you pull into the yard and if you even see it stop at the gaurd booth to find out where to go.

At Wally world it takes HOURS to get unloaded/loaded

At Sams Club you get a door right away and are unloaded in minutes!

At Wally world you cannot sleep while being loaded/unloaded because you have to sit there and listen for them to call you on the CB

At sams club they give you a Pager and page you when your ready and use a code system to tell you what to do, none of that in and out crap.

got a load, 3 stops in New Jerzy, and drop the rest at NJ Term. I'm parked at the 1st stop now, should be MT at the terminal by 130-2pm tomorrow (i hope so i can get outta here before the holiday)

Anyway, while i was in conover getting my paper work/trailer i was in the bathroom and while washing my hand this guys comes in and says "so what company are you leave to go work for?" lol I didnt catch his name though, he was in the orientation class

Then on my way out to my truck I met Mooniac!

I always see W/S trucks here in Fl. wish they would hire here, Id be interested in working for them (yes, Andrew, your video on YTube about "[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6XFo0srEDU"]Review of First Year OTR with Watkins Shepard Trucking[/ame]") did help. Oh and BTW the driver who drives a Gray W/S truck (didnt get truck #) nice illegal U-Turn in the middle of an intersection on Hwy 200 by the Hobby Lobby Plaza in Ocala, FL. you almost Jack-Knifed. LOL.

We have dedicated drivers that run from Conover, NC down to FL doing LTL furniture drops. The rest of us also do LTL and regular freight in FL as well. But Dalton is a longgggg way from FL.

What kind of truck was it? Was it a KW T2000?

So AT when is your last day again and what are your plans? such as
Taking any time off between jobs or what?

Do you get some type of orientation such as how to tarp and chain?

    American-Trucker Thanks this.

Got all three stops off with minimal issues and got to terminal and dropped loaded trailer, picked up a mt and dropped it across the street at sysco. Now im on the street waiting for the hook part of my drop and hook to be ready.

This is going to atlanta, but im just takeing it to conover to give to a driver i met a while back so he can get home for the holiday. Thanks to the last d/h i'm doing my 10drop here and will drive all night to get to conover. Which means OOH and going home for turky! Yay

Not sure when i'll get another load i'm assuming dispatch is off till monday?

Cant wait to get home i need a shower. Lol
