Might not be ALL night/weekend dispatchers. But the ones I have dealt with are NOT good.

Now 3 1/2 hours after sending Empty message there has been no reply.

Where are you located? That can play a big factor in whether loads are available during the weekend. I've delivered Saturday at 2am and sat at a truckstop until Monday AM before I got a load out. If you're near a 24/7 shipper, you'd have better luck, obviously.

I deliver tomorrow in St. James, MO. If I get a load tomorrow, I'll be surprised.

I'm just south of Louisville, KY.

I've not been around enough to know what is or isn't around here.

Call dispatch and see if anything is at the Louisville yard ready to roll.

14 is almost up now and I don't have 10 until 10:30 and I hate night driving because I can't day sleep in this Freightshaker.

I'll bug 'em in the morning.

Only thing I got wrong in my prediction is when the thing begins.

QC did beep in the middle of the night and got two "need confirmation" before I got to it. It IS a hurry rush job. From pu at 10AM Monday +4 stops to del Tuesday 10AM
    573 miles.

Miles are not the problem for 24 hours. 5 Live Loads is the problem!

I shall give it my all within the bounds of safety and legallity!

Ok, I was suppose to start my training in Arkansas this Monday on the 20th...I had given my 2 weeks notice at work and Friday was suppose to be my last day, so far so good....I get a call from my recruiter on Friday afternoon telling me they overbooked the class and that I first on the list for the 27th lol....needless to say I was not happy, fortunately my employer let me stay on for another week...but, I have been accepted by central refrigerated to stay school on the 27th, I think I will accept what happened as fate and go with Central, they appear to have the better deal.
