Last week the wind was bad. Was down to 45 because I only had 10k lbs in the box.

This trip IA was worse for wind. Was down to 60 for half that state.

    You all be safe.

Well back home for a reset a to get the stuff in my truck. have to be back to work on monday morning at 0900. Orenination was not bad. They put us up in very nice motel, Fed us in the am and at luinch. Dinner was on us.

Got a couple of small bald spots on the top of my head from the hair test. 2 of the guys have shaved spot on there chest. lol. I will have to say the people at Indy are some of the best I have worked with. They do push Safety and running 100 % legal all the time. very laid back bunch Easy to work with. Went to to help do a drop and hook and they to pontoon beach and and got truck number 10184 who I call Smurfette.... Still trying to learn the Macros and Im strating to get the hang of it. Friday I Got a live load out of St Louis mo. going to Hammond In at the Walmart DC. I missed the turn ad seen a nice 6 point buck on the rr tracks about 20 feet from the truck in the head lights just standing there.

Any ways delivered that load early and no Preplan so went to bed at the Gary In. pilot truck stop for a nice sleep after easy 9 hours on duty and driving. Still no load this morning so was told to head home for a reset untill 0900 monday. I got a little more stuff to do tomorrow before going on the road. Have to get the curtains set in the sleeper.

So far its all good and im seeing a lot less stress than the last job I had. :biggrin_25519:

    GreyHound and Smurfette! Very cool.

    Excellent summary so far, too.

    Glad to hear from you.

    chowick!!!!!

You've been AWOL since Day 12!!!

What acquisition? Who'd Gordon buy now?

/Whoa!! Funny, on that cesspool thread the OP Wolfin claimed that as soon as the old man died the kids wanted to sell the company, that the Mom stopped it. chowick, where you been??

/CSA even better than Gordon: http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/SMS/Data/carrier.aspx?enc=oimHBFW35471Lw5xZvOCyQ== Driver Safety higher, 30.7%; HOS better, 8.7%; Vehicle Maintenance down at 11.3%. Beats Gordon 2 of 3 and the driver is in control of his/her own driving safety.

/chowick, you got a link? I can't find anything on this.

/Just got off phone with Heartland safety. Confirms announcement today purchased Gordon. Nothing on their web site yet. Can't find anything on web yet. Very cool. One power house acquires another power house. Gordon = Buske?? New macros to follow...

In my experience being part of the acquired company does not often turn out too well. Will possibly consider my options in the new year and see where we are at then.
