My Superior Journey Begins

They are keeping us three new guys in Wilmington on out and back trips for a couple of weeks. That trip yesterday ended up being a decent one. Got paid 452 miles loaded since I ended up hauling the tank back to Wilmington with a full center compartment. I'll deliver it next week with all three compartments full...or someone else will. I also got 2 hours extra on the unloading since they took so long to figure things out. 52 for unloading wasn't bad.

I'm in Goose Creek, SC, now. MIK is being unloaded while I chill off the ⏰

 

I made it back 5 minutes ahead of an IC that loves the Goose Creek run and there is another pre loaded run on Monday. Yup, first in gets choice so I took it straight away. Lol A good way to start next week. I'm home for the weekend. I probably should have taken a longer run with more pay, but an easy run is hard to pass up.

 

I haven't been there, but I believe one if my Greer Classmates runs over there a lot out of Pasadena TX.

I'm back in Goose Creek, SC and will be back in Wilmington this afternoon. Hope I find a better out and back for tomorrow. This is an easy one to start the week out, but it's a lower pay day.

 

Doing preloading tomorrow, regular guy has a doctor appointment, and will do an out and back the following day, depending on what's available.

 

Did the High Point run today and am hooked up for another trip to Goose Creek in the morning.

In about a week I'll be given longer out and backs. After a month, I get released into the system. Dec 1 is a decent time to start making system pay. Lol

 

Pre loading sulfuric acid tomorrow and some other load nearby. I call it a week and go home for the weekend early.

In other news, GenX was released from training. He gets a truck Monday and will be hauling then or Tuesday. He is one of the three of us new hires on out and backs.

In other other news, I almost got a Texas run but the load got canceled. I'll take 1200 mile out and backs anytime. Lol

 

Preloaded acid today in Aurora NC. Going back for another load on Monday, but I'll be dragging it to NY. Home for the weekend.
