Once you have your own truck, how often do you sleep in hotels/truck?
-
When I ran system I got a hotel for all 34 hour resets away from home.
Smut Thanks this. -
Do you have to take your car or only choice?
-
Does Superior reimburse you for that? Just curious.Mortarmaggot Thanks this.

If you are experienced you might take your truck in there with a load. I was straight out of school and not solo in the truck. It’s part of training but not the beginning of it like many companies.Mortarmaggot Thanks this.

Company paid
Every terminal has a hotel they use. You just show your ID badge. When I was not at a terminal I turned in receipts.Mortarmaggot and Smut Thank this. -
Yeah, I'll be making use of that perk occasionally. The biggest pain is finding truck parking if you're not near a terminal. However, dropping the trailer at a terminal and off duty driving to a good restaurant and hotel is a sweet deal on a reset.Smut Thanks this.

You sort of learn where they are after a while. Google maps satellite view helps spot truck parking as well.Mortarmaggot and Smut Thank this.

How often do you guys get to shower since you can’t really park at truck stops with a hazmat load?
