All tarps suck in the wind, even a little smoke tarp. One panel of a side kit could send a little guy over the edge of a flat
My tarp jobs are ugly as sin

8 ft tarps on 3 foot loads piss me off. Cheap company only has 8 ft tarps while 90% of our tarp loads only need 4 footers.
On the other hand they had several drivers need to be reoutfitted on the road because there equipment was all stolen. Probably woulda gotten away with it if it only happened once. But twice in 1 month was a little unbelievable. -
Honestly on my drywall I don't even attempt it any more just snug each one. But I did not do the tarping and not about to redo it all since I paid the shipper to do it.Chewy352 Thanks this. -
I do my best and learn from the rest. Most of my tarp jobs are uglier then my ex girlfriends but I haven't had a claim yet.
Sneakerfix and tsavory Thank this. -
icsheeple, kylefitzy, tsavory and 1 other person Thank this.

I've never priced them but aren't they hundreds of dollars? Besides that I hate tarping so much that my next job will be a van, tank, or zero tarp flatbedding. I love flatbed but the tarping is just too much for me.

icsheeple, peterbilt_2005, KenworthGuyNH and 1 other person Thank this.

I just throw it out there because sometimes it will pay you back to invest in some equipment. I have bought a few things I want but don't have to have to do the job. I think what I've bought speeds up the job enough to make me more money. -
Oh I agree with you that if it speeds up the job it's worth it. If I didn't hate tarping so much I'd probably invest more personal money into it.
MJ1657 Thanks this.
