there is a few stretched trucks rolling around nj. they look sweet. maybe they have dedicated customers but i get caught in tight spots with a daycab so definatly wouldnt want the headache for the "cool look"

They need to invent an adjustable frame for that reason. You could have a switch on the dash that allows you to switch between city and cool!

For anyone who thinks a long wheelbase truck doesn't work on the east coast. Project 350 runs NY,NJ,MA,PA and other east coast states.

He had all the room in the world. He's been there many times before.

I remember one pulled into Farmland in East Dubuque, IL and was crying because they put him in a door instead of dropping in the yard. He couldn't do it and had the yard dog back the trailer in for him. Perfect example of a stretched truck. Pretty? Yes. Practical? No.

See quite a few LW tractors on the East Coast that have to leave freight ( $ ) sitting on the dock because of the extra weight of the longer frame and usually bigger than normal big bunk.

Massive gap between sleeper and trl can only do good things for fuel economy, right? Or you guys make enough you don't worry about that :)
