Roehl is the top of two companies I'm considering, but I'm getting the impression their national fleet rarely goes west of the Rockies. Could any drivers confirm? I'd think driving in the west would be great.

I drove with them for a year, never went west of Nebraska myself. One of the guys from my orientation did get out to the west coast once or twice. he was either flatbed or curtain side, I forget. Others I have talked to say that when they do get out west, they get stuck sitting out there for a while because the company has a hard time finding backhauls from that region.
