Nazi plane was downed on CA 101

    CBS Los Angeles writes the aircraft was identified by officials as a Forney F-1. The plane was seen with World War II-style decals on its wings.

    The Van Nuys Airport said the plane involved in Tuesday's crash is from the Condor Squadron vintage flying club.

    oh ok. thanks god not nazis ;-) . I am not a plane specialist, I don't know what model was it. But I know very well the signs of Nazi Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe ))) I was born and lived in SU until 99.

    The 101 is usually full of people just tooling along in the left lane practically oblivious as to why they are even there. I'm surprised the plane found a clear place to put down over there...
