My apologies. I thought you were referring to a new rig, not a new-to-you rig.

    Good luck,

    Jim

Dealers make $$$ from financing, so I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned when shopping there. And I'm surprised they didn't counter your offer. Is this a new truck dealer or one of those "honest sams" used truck dealers set up on a dirt lot with about 50 gold freightshakers on the line ?

Why are you getting rid of your truck? Something wrong with it?

Ya, it's cost me too much money.

It was at a used truck dealer, no freightshakers tho. They had some nice trucks.

    You're joking.

    Right?

    A 2008 Pete for $120k, that's well over $60k the true value.

    Right ... a 2008 Pete ... right?

What is costing so much money? It has a fresh in frame, correct? or did I read your post wrong? What year, make, MOTOR and model truck? And what exactly is wrong with it that it is costing you money? Is it an EPA truck? And if so, why trade for another EPA truck? Especially a Pete with a hood? Those days are long gone. Just saying, and asking.

A 2008 pete, depending on what is under the hood, is going to need an in frame. And if it is not a CM-871, that is just peeing money away.

It was very clean and emmissions free, the truck was worth the money imho.

The truck in my sig. It's an old logging truck that was rode hard and I'm getting nickle and dimed by all the little things that break. In frame was done 300k miles ago, so not fresh but recent enough that its got a few hundred k left before it needs another. It's an 04 with a 14L Detroit. I wanted it gone, so I went in with what I thought was a realistic trade in value and a reasonable offer for their truck.

Oh well, im moving on. There's other nice trucks out there for less.
