The cops won't know or care if you are the passenger AND the carrier. If they ask for something, they want it even if it makes no sense. You can print the document or save it as a PDF just from the screen. I'd recommend you carry a hardcopy of the passenger authorization AND as a PDF on phone or tablet. Put the hardcopy in your permit book, the book with your insurance paperwork, DOT/MC paperwork, tax, business docs, etc.

You MAY be able to convince a DOT officer since you are the carrier you don't need the form he asks for but it is usually easier & faster to have the thing the cops thinks he needs to see than have the discussion. "It doesn't have to make since, it's trucking"

Ok, I guess. Some of us know what’s what but offering advice seems to be falling into the category that you want to hear what you want and ignore the rest.

just the load board thing will put you out of business very fast, you are talking about a box truck, not a straight truck and that is where you will not get the work. A box truck also can’t operate with most of the loads you see on load boards because even the brokers do not know what they are doing so to expect you to run general freight at 75¢ a mile, it will not even cove fuel.

Box trucks run local, last mile freight not otr unless it is contracted and I d****** well guarantee you that’s not going to happen with the over capacity we have in all segments of the freight market.

In a pinch you can save the document to your phone as a PDF and fax that PDF to the next truck stop or UPS Store, Office Depot, Staples, or FedEx Kinkos location and pay the $2-ish fee per page to pick it up there. Trucker Path phone app or Google Maps can give you the phone number for the truck stop, call and get their fax number. Make sure SOMETHING on the PDF document uses your company name or your personal name so the clerk can find it.

I'd use a PDF editor and type in the Carrier details on the form before you fax it to the truck stop or office store. Leave the trip info blank and fill that in by hand as needed.
You can fax from your phone for free with a service like efax.com or just google fax for free. Several online services allow a "every once in a while" free fax. You can also keep the form on your phone/tablet and fax it to the DOT/Cops if they ask for it. Just make sure you can completely fill-out the form before you send it to them.

I 100% understand YOU ARE THE CARRIER. My advice assumed that is true and will remain true. The 1st day you want to do CDL-A (semi-truck) stuff NONE of your non-CDL or CDL-B experience counts for even a used gum wrapper. A foot surgean converting to brain surgery will get more credit for his foot business than you will get for moving a non-CDL-A for even 20 years. It doesn't count except maybe age on your MC, maybe your insurance carrier (a little bit). It won't count with brokers, customers, or if you decide to go get a CDL-A job with a trucking company.

I understand what your saying but there are multiple apps that I can book loads on myself Amazon relay being one of them and Amazon relay run cargo vans box trucks and freight trucks and that’s just one load provider there’s plenty more nobody is going to take a load at 0.75 a mile that’s insane if it’s advertised for a box truck and it doesn’t fit that’s the brokers fault dimensions also come into play if I book it and
Okay thank you. My only question will me being a passenger be a problem with the shipper if I have that paper

The form is right in front of your face on this website. Print that or make the form using any free word processing apps or software. You can use Google Docs and make the form there. You don't have to have that one particular example of a passenger authorization form. You only need A form with the information the form you saw asks for.

You are determined not to follow the advice you are being given. Do whatever you want, however you want, it's your neck.
Cops and DOT officers love when drivers or passengers start explaining to them why they DON'T need what the cop/officer asks for. And by "love" I mean roll their eyes for the 50th time that day and start planning whether to pepper-spray or taze you.
Why ask for the advice and then resist like a badger the advice you are given?
