I recently had an accident. They tried to say I didn’t stop at a stop sign and tboned a driver in a car. I did stop at the stop sign and I’m going to try and fight the ticket. Unfortunately I worked for a smaller really old school company that didn’t have any cameras in their trucks. I was a flatbed driver been driving 2.5 years and this is the only hiccup on my mvr. I’m trying to go tanker is there any tanker companies that will hire me that doesn’t have crap pay? Thanks for any advice. Also I already know an accident is bad to have on your record a preventable one at that. So there’s no need to let me know that. I’m just looking for honest advice on tanker companies or flatbed companies. Thanks in advance

One accident is OK for quite a few companies and you can always use your own personal dashcam. As far as specific tanker companies @Chinatown might come along with some ideas if you let us know whereabouts you're at.

And, this experience should encourage you to get your own dash cam and use it. One of the first things I bought and installed in my truck was my own dashcam, even though my company has dash cams in their trucks. For my own potential liability issues, I won't drive a truck without my dash cam being in it and running.

You wrote the accident is recent and you are going to fight the ticket. Is the ticket on your MVR right now? If not, when you apply for jobs NOW, you have a clean MVR.
@Chinatown Am I understanding this correctly? How long does it take for accidents/tickets to appear on MVR?

If there's an insurance company involved, it will be on a database the trucking company can see. Am I correct @Ridgeline.

You can buy your own dashcam
In fact it’s better if you own it , that way you control it .

You’d better hire an attorney for the accident and ticket .

It seems kinda strange that ‘they’ claimed you T-boned somebody, but you deny, and going to fight it. Even the most rookie police officer can fairly quickly determine how vehicles collided in an accident. If you did not T-bone, then by all means fight it.
