I'm not sure what Google will allow as far as saving satellite views as anything other then links. I know you can do a "print screen" on a Mac or PC and paste the capture to create a JPG but not sure if this can be done on Android or IOS.

I know you can save a location and an embedded link that yields a satellite view if that is the link view that was saved.

If you already have a smart phone then maybe all you need is some "cloud" storage (Internet). I use Google Drive on my Android smart phone (app), laptop and desktop. It is a way to store files and have access to them anywhere. It basically mirrors a hard drive, but on Google's servers. There's no cost.

There is also Evernote (again, available on smart phone and computer devices), Dropbox and a few others. A handy app I use for notes is Inkpad. It also syncs to an Internet server. You can sync four times per day at no cost, or go the paid route for unlimited syncs.
