When you buy your own truck, do you register it the state you live in or the state the company your going to lease on to? Thanks in advance

When you buy equipment, you title the vehicle in the state you live.
Irp/plate can be based in the state of company leased to.

In Pa you need a copy of a lease with the vin number or you pay sales tax.

X2 on this. My truck is titled in my state but plated out of another. You can title your truck in the state your base plate comes from though even if you don't live there.

Which ever one benefits you more as far as taxes go. It can be titled in your name with the company address.
