Right on! Back up those directions with everything you can for sure!!!

 

If you're headed toward a busy location, trust the most recent tracks over directions if the turn is a few 10ths early. A lot of it is intuition and tracking skills.

 

gps is only as good as the accurate transfer of numbers, just 1 wrong didget and your screwed. another hurdle is having a smart phone, many people dont.

 

I heard the oil field in texas is booming right now and thats the place to be... I worked for halliburton for a short time last year and I seen those sand haulers come in.. some of them had some ratty trucks... Halliburton made us wear coveralls, hardhat, safety glasses, huge ear muffs... and some of these guys would get out in ratty blue jeans, slip on boots, hard hat turned backwards, no safety glasses and tiny little ear buds for hearing protection... Is that the case in west texas?
