Got about 3 weeks until I'm going to buy a truck. Paying cash. Wanted a new truck. But #$%@ FET
So I've found a handful of 2019's with between 80k-150k miles for 120-140k. How much wiggle room do I have? Dont wanna come off as a total prick but of course wanna pay the least possible

my experience has been there is no wiggle room.......take it or leave it, that's the price.
That said, since used trucks are quite plentiful at the moment, they might be a bit friendlier....but I wouldn't count on it.Intothesunset and Wespipes Thank this. -
Most of what I'm finding is similar to this Would it be crazy to offer them 110k? I mean worse they can say is no

I thought we didn't pay Federal Excise Tax on used equipment? Isn't FET only for new?
Wespipes and Intothesunset Thank this. -
A 2019 with more than 80,000 miles was a team truck. And if it's red Cascadia it was a cre truck probably only had 1 oil change.

For a $140-$150k you should be able to factory spec a new truck.
