I get crap from other drivers about my attitude, but what I teach and what was taught to me was we're the professionals and it is our duty to try and safe guard althose arounds us. Rain slow down, and quit tailgating all the time. That room you leave in front of your tractor safeguards you and everyone else.

As far as what happened here, I could not come to a conclusion from the clip, I'll bet following to close in the rain is a good probability.

I don't get the cars doing U-turns on the 91 freeway as being a great idea either, just adding to the problem.

    Lepton1 and brysol01 Thank this.

Not likely in the rain, could be if he hit something. Most accident in the rain come from following to close or traveling at too high of speed for the conditions.
