The main angle that it changed lowering the suspension was the front differential tilt. I believe it went from around 5-6 to around 2-3. The driveline surprisingly didn't change that much. Maybe 3 to 2-2.5. I am wondering if when they redid this entire rear suspension if they used the wrong axle blocks for these springs. I am going to look at some Freightliners in the future and look at their suspensions. If anyone else has this bizarre issue in the future, if your front differential is noticeably tilted it will explode and damage other stuff. It should appear fairly flat to the unaided eye. My previous Freightliner was basically flat, I noticed this one was angled when I bought it but didn't think much of it till the differential blew up.

Hi guys this will be the final update on this thread. Hopefully it can help someone in the future. The axles that came with the truck had the axle blocks set incorrectly and that is what ruined the pinion. I know because I was dumb enough to set up my new axles the same way and I contined to have issues. I didn't need a transmission. The front axles axle blocks need to have the arrow facing towards the rear of the truck. The rear axles arrows need to race towards the front of the truck. This will fix all the issues and get all your angles set perfectly. If your front axle is sitting level to the naked eye and your rear is tilted up to the naked eye you are probably good to go. I kind of doubt anyone will have this issue but if ya do it is your axle blocks. I'm sure I put some premature wear on the front differential but it was only 10k miles or so. I think the previous one went 150-200k set like that. I wasted a lot of time dicking around with these axles so maybe this can save someone the time I spent lol. Truck rides great now. I have been driving around with basically zero air ride to avoid tearing up my gears.
