    Just bought my truck. Got it insured. Now I need to wait for the insurance company to send info to FMCSA to activate my DOT #s. what else :

    BOC-3 form - online

    HVUT/2290 - online

    Plates IRP- online

    Truck has IFTA sticker for 2021…do I need new ones since I need IFTA account in my LLC name ?

    UCR – online

    DOT annual inspection

    Enroll in drug consortium

    put together driver file (just me for now), for an audit

    get ELD - keeptruckin?

    anything else ?

    Since it's just you, you also need a third-party C/TPA. You aren't allowed to admin yourself. Your drug consortium people will know what to do.

    FYI, my drug testing people charge me $60 per year, $15 per test, and do consortium and C/TPA for free. So don't be letting anyone bend you over on price.

    Yes you will need your own IFTA sticker. And KYU number if you plan on running in Kentucky.

    yep ,thanks. i do not plan to run much away from Chicago ...300 miles tops - local deal. other permits
    new Mexico 100, Oregon 300, Connecticut ?

    It all depends. For example if you run flatbed and plan on doing oversize, some states require permits for running with strobe lights. It's a bunch of inexpensive stupid things like this that you have to keep on top of. God forbid you don't have this pointless $15 permit or we can give you a $150 ticket.

    As long as your an Ooida member they’ll be your process agent, all states will be covered, usually cheaper that way.
    You need those in each state you run.
