How do they figure it’s “effective enough” when 1/3 of the people dying from the Delta variant in the UK have been fully vaccinated?

 

One person dying out of three is 1/3. What are the numbers and what percentage of the population is vaccinated. You need all these details to figure out if 1/3 is good or bad. The Pfizer Spike protein vaccine is not specific to any exact strain but the whole family.

Because the vaccination rate is much higher than 1/3, plus many of the dead were infected before they got vaccinated. Vaccines don't do anything for people who are already infected.

 

None of those things stop the spread. They're only intended to slow the spread, so hospitals aren't overwhelmed all at once. Spread the spike out over more weeks. 100,000 cases over four weeks is much easier for hospitals to handle than 100,000 cases over one week. How many more times does it need to be explained to you?

 

The article on MSNBC was pretty specific. From June 6 to June 14, of the people in the UK that died with the Delta variant, one third of them were fully vaccinated. But now that certain things are coming out about the vaccinations things get spun a certain way because one side is right and the other side is bad. For the last year the details didn’t seem to matter. If someone was morbidly obese and diabetic and whatever else but they died with Covid in their system it was a Covid death. Never mind the other factors in their lifestyle choices. But now it’s time to look at numbers and such to get the big picture about the vaccines. Ok, got it.
