New driver, small pond, urine test only

So I graduated cdl school in December of 2023. Found employment with a smaller company here locally in dallas tx, I wasn’t the biggest fan of team Driving so I ended up leaving the company with less than six months of experience. Probably about four months total. Since then I’ve had difficulty finding employment opportunities, especially since I cannot take a hair follicle test for religious regions.
So if anyone has any suggestions on smaller companies that hire with less than 6 mo experience and don’t require hair follicle testing. I don’t necessarily need the company to be in my area, just willing to hire out of my area. Thank you all in advance.

 

Had a horrible experience with this company regarding orientation. They failed to send me proper intinerary for orientation that started on a Sunday. I arrived with no instructions on where to go or who to talk to, and nobody answering the phone since it was a Sunday. On Monday, I spoke to them and they told me since I didn’t show up during orientation, They were no longer interested.

 

Solid advice. You are precisely who I was hoping to hear from after months of reading through forums and finally posting myself. I appreciate it.
