Maverick Transportation normally has a large presence in the Nashville area:

They are probably as good as any...for starting out in flatbed; tough to beat...

Note also: both Knight & Swift also have flatbed...however, you may need to start out pulling other freight with them, first.

But...that's cool; other fleets like drivers with experience pulling different freight types.

 

@lual has solid advice on flatbed companies that hire new CDL holders. Follow-up on the recommendations given and you will get hired on.

You are about a half hour from Nashville and TMC is hiring there.

 

what CDL endorsements do you have. I highly recommend EVERYONE get Doubles/Triple, Tanker, and HazMat to start. D/T & Tanker are just a short test on computer and cost $20 or less each. HazMat is a longer, more difficult computer test and costs around $100-150 for all fees to everyone and requires fingerprint check and waiting on the TSA.
