Your not cluttering up the post. This is the feedback I was looking for. Like I stated, this is only for a contract I'm trying to get. Gathering info is what I'm trying to accomplish. And it's been a great learning experience. So thank you

I'm sure a high spec trailer will be worth more than a fleet spec trailer at resale. When I first started looking for trailers last year I went to a couple of auctions. There was a 98 that was spec'd like what you're wanting, it brought more than a couple of really nice 12's that were fleet spec'd.

Both of my trailers are decent, nothing fancy but not beat to hell either. I paid $12,200 for the Dane last year and $11,500 for the utility this year.

as soon as you go from buying a trailer from inventory,to specing and ordering one the price goes up fast.

The only thing bad about this set up is the round part on the trailer that is "slotted" to hold the door is plastic (unless they've updated it). Once that plastic breaks there is nothing to hold the door open.

Yep, I speak from experience. Lol. Pretty cool concept though.

I've only seen them in stamp cut steel. Must have updated them.

I just talked to 3 guys that have bought brand new Danes last year, 7-9 trailers between them and all the new Danes leaked. Does anyone know if they had some bad production runs and if so did they correct it? That kinda scares me a little. Also priced new high spec vs standard spec and there isn't $7000 difference between loaded up and standard spec. Think if I buy one, it will be loaded. Also about $1000 difference between Dane and Utility. The Dane being more.

    RStewart Thanks this.
