i had to take the Mrs. to the grocery store, to pick up a few items.
i was going to wait in the car, but went inside, my bad..it was thew FIRST of the month.
so anyway i go up to the service desk, i was going to buy some lottery tickets.
the gal was incredibly busy, but it did not dawn on me, it was the FIRST of the month..!!
and she said, "there's snow coming"..
i said, "i'm all set, i got my funny bones, ring dings, and fun-yuns, and beer".
i said, "no man lives on bread and milk"...
people behind me laughed.....and the man who was with HIS wife said, "i need to make a beer run too"...

Good thing Colorado doesn't care what Mario Corleone thinks about my CDL. An even better thing is I never drive in New York or New Jersey any more. Heck, in Colorado, we're so truck-friendly that you can kill 4 people, injure a dozen more, and wreck 28 vehicles and we'll let you stay at home in Texas for a year while you're waiting for your trial.
I think I'll write a letter to my local legislators asking them to raise the fines for trucks that fail to carry chains when they drive through Colorado, but only for trucks from New York, New Jersey, Texas, and California.bzinger Thanks this. -

As high as taxes and tolls are in NJ they should never have problem with ice snd snow sticking to the road, they should be to afford to put heaters built into the roads.
