Hi guys, as always I'm here for advice and share information. Thank you all of you who helped me to take important decisions on my recent career.
It happens that I ran almost all states with some exceptions missing and today I'm running to Michigan. The closest I being is Indiana but I am wondering the best route from Los Angeles to Michigan.
I saw the map and mainly gotta head up to 70 and connect latter 76 to find 80 but what I don't really like is 70 fwy because has a lot of mountain road equals to go super slow because of the load.
I am thinking on 40 fwy then 44 ant then 7o to connect to Indiana than I will save a little bit of mountains.
    Any advice is very welcome.

There's a few different ways to get there. As you mentioned, I-15-I70 over the mountains. Or I-40 etc as you mentioned. I-44 is a toll rd. in Ok. but not too expensive. You can also do I-40 to I 25 in Co. then north. Or US 54 out of Tucumcari, N.M. east to I-35 in Ks. then north to I-70. Or get up ti I-80 and east. Sorry, going from memory. No map available.

I always just put the ruler down and follow whatever US or Interstate highways follow it. And enjoy the view.

The jerk who told you to use a map gave you much more valuable advise then just telling you the answer. I use my garmin 465t to pre plan my routing. You can google and get directions there also. Trucking is about being independant. Holding your hand cheapens the experience for you. Just dive in.
