So I broke down and bought a new mattress... I dont know why I waited this long. It is so comfortable compared to the stock mattress. I slept amazing on this new "Dream Cloud" as I have dubbed it. Its nothing super fancy or really expensive, but its also more than just a foam pad. Cost me about $300 bucks, worth every penny!!!!

Sleeping in a truck sucks enough. Might as well be as comfortable as you can afford to make it..

That sleeper is my little tree house. I could sleep there even if it was on a rack of nails.

I bought a 6” thick memory foam mattress at IKEA for about $40. I put that on top of the spring mattress that came in the truck, and eventually topped it all off with a 2” thick cooling gel mattress topper.
Since we run team, the spring loaded mattress would toss me out of bed running the treacherous roads of the North East. The memory foam is sooo much better, and the only downside is that I hate sleeping at home now.D.Tibbitt, fargonaz, Oldironfan and 3 others Thank this. -
i bought one off Amazon. 12" thick memory foam. $300. used an electric knife to trim to size. best mattress ive ever had in the truck
