New Mattress

Sleeping in a truck sucks enough. Might as well be as comfortable as you can afford to make it..

 

That sleeper is my little tree house. I could sleep there even if it was on a rack of nails.

 

I bought a 6” thick memory foam mattress at IKEA for about $40. I put that on top of the spring mattress that came in the truck, and eventually topped it all off with a 2” thick cooling gel mattress topper.

Since we run team, the spring loaded mattress would toss me out of bed running the treacherous roads of the North East. The memory foam is sooo much better, and the only downside is that I hate sleeping at home now.

 

i bought one off Amazon. 12" thick memory foam. $300. used an electric knife to trim to size. best mattress ive ever had in the truck

 

$300? I think you were robbed but a comfortable bed can certainly be priceless.

 

I have a gel foam egg crate top. It's amazing. Better than home. Serta brand . $40.

 

Where was that Dream cloud matrees.
I have a foam top firm spring matress..
Guess what I sleep on my side. Firm spring is for back sleeping.
3 months of hell so far.

 

Ollie's is where I got mine. It's an oversize twin.

 

Just don't buy coffee from there!
