If a state doesn't accept third party tests, will they take a student to his home state (RI in this case) to test?

We always have in the past, while you are in TNT phase. That would also be when trainees that don't have to retest transfer their MO license back to their home states.

I've run into that in the past with IL. Should be all good w/that.

    Oh yeah, RI......

The most truck unfriendly state in the nation! LOL

Avoid it whenever I can. Run around them at every opportunity. Really wish everyone would just boycott them & see how they manage, until they at least show some semblance of sanity.

    Wish full thinking.......

    PEACE

Only one TA in all of RI...
    Dirt parking lot.

Has a very interesting cemetery snack in the middle of the property, and a nifty sports bar right across the road.

Other than that RI really is truck unfriendly.

Ok... This is what I got from Stsn Kasterke,

For the out of state students they are giving them a letter stating that they are "leasing" a room at the campus inn. By doing this they are "residing" in Missouri and can use the Missouri permit.

They also must transfer their new CDL back to their home state prior to upgrading .

I thought states required CLP to have a valid base Class E license in that state? At least... it states that for Missouri.

Method 1:You transfer your driver's licence to MO, get your CLP, train with Prime, get your CDL, then transfer your licence back to your home state.
Method 2: You get your CLP in your home state, train with Prime, test in MO, and transfer the results of the test to your home state and get your CDL. (Very limited applicability)
Method 3: You get your CLP and CDL in your home state, then sign on to Prime as an inexperienced driver and train.

In all cases, you will require at least one CDL physical with Prime, and may require two physicals.

    I hope this helps.
