    Cj5, a real jeep.

No matter, the guy heard about the radio but said they all use cbs and don’t care to change.

I just replaced the Hustler G-6 (it had issues) with the Comet.. I have been pleasantly surprised and happy with the performance of the Comet CA-712EFC antenna

Yes that is one of the real jeeps, I had several, this one is a $200 "get it out of here" deal, stuck a battery in it and changed the fluids and haven't looked back. My last one, MB38A1 was a blast but it was so rusty that it fell apart on me. The one before that CJ-2 like the one you posted, it was fun but too tight for me.

These xn yx jn or what ever they are, are not real jeeps.

I hear you on the not being fat kid approved! A worn out seat is actually a blessing! The family has had that Jeep since the late 50's! Belonged to my Dad's Dad up on the farm outside of Cooperstown NY. 3 generations have had their first shot at driving on the old Jeep! My brother still has it since the farm got sold! Did alot of repairs on it to keep it going and it still lives today!
    Good times.....

How about that, Midland jumping on the band wagon. That could be a big shot in the arm for both parties involved. In the 70's my first mobile CB radio was a Midland. I was very happy with that radio. Of course that was back in the day when quality counts. No peak and tune needed.

As far as GMRS promotion is concerned, Midland is the Band playing the loudest music..

When I first got into CB, the Midland 79-893 AM/SSB 40 channel radio was a HOT Seller...
