    It has been, indirectly. Its called 1099 companies who obviously mis-classify their drivers to avoid taxes. Im surprised IRS hasnt jumped on that bandwagon.

    Good. I wish the IRS would actively police these illegal 1099 companies. Like the bump in rates with the ELD, getting rid of cheap, illegal haulers helps everyone.

    Unlike the fear tactic of the article, it will not affect o/o or l/o operations. Just makes it easy to shut down 1099 places.
