    Hey drivers,

Just got on board with Swift for about a week now, still trying to get use to everything but I think I'm going to like it and my DM seems really good so far. But anyways, while I have these things on my mind...

Any tips on how to be more productive and get decent miles week to week?

    Do they reimburse for showers?

    Anyone else drive a 2014 Prostar+ Eagle?

Anyone do the Dollar Tree rapid deployment fleet?

    Stay safe out there drivers

First point, plan your time correctly.

Second point, No. But you get shower points - when you fuel. 50+ gallons it earns 1 shower.
Just make sure you have the right rewards card for where you are fueling, and plan to take a shower.

    Third point.
I had a ProStar once. It was the worst truck I ever had.
In the 6 months I had it, it was in the shop for a total of 6 weeks.

Crapstar by far worest truck I had the door seals suck........ Air goes right thru the door handle. On cold weather your leg gets cold. No storage space other then that it's a ok truck.

I loved my prostar. Nice ride and didn't go everywhere. The cascadia goes anywhere but straight.

Thanks y'all. With so many loads being drops, do you guys always go back and count the freight while it's being loaded?

I used to haul produce and everything was a live load and unload, so we counted everything.

How do I know whether it's shipper count or not when I have a live load?

    Thanks

I only go in to count when the shipper requires it.
Some high value loads, like electronics, might require it. But it doesn't happen very often.

I think that in my 4 years here, I have only been inside maybe 2 times to count freight. Never once on unload. As far as picking up a loaded trailer that is already sealed, you are not responsible for anything, not even how it is loaded or secured(which can be fun on some of what we haul)

On occasion you will be asked to count freight ... but watch the bills when you sign them ... on occasion I've had the shipper note shipper load/driver count ... I didn't count, I don't sign. I had one shipper refuse to change the bills. Told them your choice, change it or pull the freight off the trailer let me count it, then you can put it back on.
