That's a good choice and a good price in my opinion as long as it was rebuilt with GENUINE eaton gears, otherwise it will be trouble. The headset gears WILL eventually crack, break or shear teeth.
@m16ty , the rtlo 187 series versus the rtlo 189 series rtlo transmissions use the older style course spline output shafts, which is what your rtlo16610B has, so you should be ok unless your putting a new yoke on it anyhow. The Rtlo 18918 has a fine spline output shaft and an upgraded seal design. What driveline are you running?

A 2250 uses a spline adapter to work with a regular 2"-10 spline shaft unless you already have a 14 spline input shaft. A 2050 will hold fine upto around 600-700 or so hp.SAR, Bean Jr., Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this.
