Option is still there with the W900 or T800. Sales are still good with the T800 and the W990 is not overtaking W900L sales. I have heard multiple rumors of the 389 being discontinued, but I have a tough time believing that it won't be a 399 with narrow cab and a good hood with 127" BBC. Sales are still very strong with the 389.

Louisville with a 7 speed. Single with tag. Let him figure out how those guys ran 750 miles a night.

I feel like truck shortage is skewing the numbers right now. It was quicker to get a 1.9 cab in my hands than it was to spec a 680 or 990. Canada ended up forcing Peterbilt out of selling the 389 due to the aerodynamic/efficiency points from last I read. What’s BBC by the way? And not the kind most of us are probably thinking of. HA.

BBC=Bumper to back of cab measurement. Political winds are changing, much of GHG rules will be loosened again in North America.

Future of trucking in my opinion is hydrogen hybrids, but it is all a long way away. It is great to have long term goals, but we live in the now. Let free enterprise drive the change, not career politicians.

That 11 yard 359 mixer I drove, aka " The Beast " was the last manual in the fleet.

Never had to worry about somebody taking my truck unless it was a code blue emergency.

What if any actual company information do we have stating that the 389 is going away?
