So, yesterday was my last day at my company, on to a new endeavor. My last company uses Co-Pilot, we have it on our tablet and it's cool, I didn't really have much problem with it, I see that I'm still login to the company's account and it's still working, so I was wondering if I should just use it or should I just head to the Love's down the road and buy a Garmin or Rand McNally just in case they randomly cut it off on me, I have about 46,098 Love's points btw.

There will be times when your carrier's GPS will not be working as it should.
Having a backup GPS could save your bacon.
A while back -- I realized this, & picked up a Garmin truck-ready GPS.
In hindsight -- boy, am I glad I did!!!
On many an occasion -- that Garmin has made the difference between success & misery.

I’d never put any Faith in Co-Pilot. Buy a Garmin and run the two together when needed. Double check with an atlas and plan the route in the Garmin.

You should look at Trucker Path. It’s and app I believe $99 a year. You can download the maps to phone or tablet. You get their parking predictions and 7 day history included. You can try it out for free 7 days I think
hope not dumb twucker, RogerThat72 and nextgentrucker Thank this. -

I'd just use those points and get either a Rand Mcnally or Garmin truck GPS. Those points should be enough or close to enough to buy it. Also, don't just blindly follow the GPS. Use all at your fingertips to determine the proper route including atlas, phone call to shipper or receiver, satellite view including top down view and street view, and lastly your GPS. It is just a tool to help not and end all be all.

Going to be in the same boat as you soon. Except for no GPS. The last one I used was a Rand McNally, but it seems as of NOW Garmin has stepped their game up so I might go with the Garmin Delz710. Walmart routed us through peoplenet and before that Qualcomm. So, it’s been years since I used one to be honest but from all the reviews Garmin is the hot ticket right now.
