I like the predictability of available freight and the lanes I like to run by leasing my rig to a large carrier. For the 15% I pay I get a lot of value in my opinion. If you had the freight being an independent might be great, but I don’t want to hunt for freight.

 

I think currently no, but you could always check with specific terminals and have them look in to it. They probably will when they need more capacity.

 

I am here for the free exercise and the shiny wheels on my rig.

 

On a serious note I think we both know I am in it for strictly the money. If the money weren’t here then I wouldn’t be either. You are smart enough and energetic enough to do very well here or at several other carriers. Not everyone is one or both.

 

There are many other good opinions on here and I am sure you know who they are. They don’t live or work near us, but you can tell by their posts how much knowledge they have. Hammer is just one who has taught me a lot on this forum. As have many others over the years.
