New vacation rule - anybody heard?

    From a Dallas driver - apparently they've changed the vacation time rule. New hires now get 2 weeks after 3 years, and 3 weeks after 5 years.

    Above is RUMOUR. If true, I'm sure they'll be a bit of a stink about where that leaves the current drivers. We'll be going on 7 years in June, a bit of prorate would be nice, but I guess we'll get the 3 weeks then.

    Anybody else heard anything?

    2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 5 years. This info has been out for quite a while now if you've been driving for OD.

    Well ######! Why am I the last to find out!!
    I didn't get that memo. We're up on 7 years in June so its a moot point for us, good for the new hires.

    I believe you're right cello. I wanted to say that, but that sounded too good. I worked here for 8 years just to get 3 weeks, now you get it quite fast.

    They changed all the vacation and benefit packages with the new pay raise. I was shocked that I would be eligible for it, seeing as I only started in August. Does sound too good to be true, doesn't it?:biggrin_25523:
