Hey I'm sure this gets asked a million times but I'm honestly a newbie just trying to find a decent career for a few years. I'm from Connecticut and currently not in the best situation financially and looking to just be OTR for most likely months at a time.
I am just looking to save as much money as possible and live as cheaply as possible while also being busy all year round.
Are there any companies that will train me and hire me immediately? I will even look far out of state as long as I can find a place to live while I train.
Don't have my CDL-A just yet
No felonies
I don't drink or do drugs
I have about one moving violation and had to pay a $200 fine about in dec 2023. I turned left a yellow light that turned red light and a cop happen to be behind me. Really my only problem on my MVR, is that a huge problem?

Given the current CDL job market
-- I'd be curious to see how this later plays out....& which carrier (among those listed in this thread) extends a bona-fide job offer to somone without a CDL....in the upper northeast....& with a recent traffic moving violation.
