I come to all dri ers in general with the heaviness of heart and disappointment to communicate how bad are we separated not united in the minimal way wich is human we drivers treat each other with the most disrespect and untrust that ha e decided to not only quit trucking but to abandon the profession I hold for 28 years just to the fact to see how the industry had Meade of drivers zombies butto pushers with feeli g and respect
Came to be stranded in Gary Indiana af6er dropping g a bobtail to a yard , thinking will ask my dru ers ,my people to hitch a ride back to the Dallas Area nothing !
Very cold and apathy from every driver I approach so took a bus and did the same thing along the bus dri e onevry other truckstop no one care not even ask what are the circumstances terrible situation the family I thought I had turn out to be nothing but button pushers, giving to the will of a dispatcher and a meager company with meager pay that will never mount to nothing wellI say for sure Iam do e with it and with my broken heart take this last intent for the search of the long gone real drivers of the road the real cowboys, the real JohnWayne that it ceased to exist on the road and the truckstop no more give you a hand, no more the family of the road that you use to relayed up on!!
NO MORE WILL HEAR THE VOCE ON THE CB ARE YOU OK DRIVER YOU NEED HELP!
MAY THE LORD HAVE MERCY ON YOU ALL!!
No Brotherhood Among Drivers

With the number of unhinged and mentally unstable people in this world today I wouldn't let anybody hitch a ride with me. I could care less what they do for a living, it doesn't make it any less of a risk to my wellbeing.

I understand your frustration and his as well I’ve read plenty of stories of drivers helping out someone to get killed, or hurt in the process but a union would nice.

I too miss how things were in this profession.... but Things Change !
The world has changed, much as it did before, and will again.....
I dont really like it, but i can't do much about it but try to see the good amongst the not so good. And when one thinks about it, nothing is good or bad, only as it is thought to be -
