No Brotherhood Among Drivers

With the number of unhinged and mentally unstable people in this world today I wouldn't let anybody hitch a ride with me. I could care less what they do for a living, it doesn't make it any less of a risk to my wellbeing.

 

Unhinged and mentally unstable people driving truck? Surely you’re messing with us. No way.

 

specially the lawsuit happy crowd. One slip and fall out of the rig and the independent owner operator is done for. Let alone the no passenger policy with many megas.

not even counting the over night stay in the bunk.


Free room and travel. Yay.

 

I understand your frustration and his as well I’ve read plenty of stories of drivers helping out someone to get killed, or hurt in the process but a union would nice.

 

I too miss how things were in this profession.... but Things Change !
The world has changed, much as it did before, and will again.....
I dont really like it, but i can't do much about it but try to see the good amongst the not so good. And when one thinks about it, nothing is good or bad, only as it is thought to be

I've heard all kinds of reasons to give money, rides, ect, from people at truck stops over the yrs.

if I don't know ya, "sorry charlie".

I've become calloused to the human plight I guess.

too many people looking for whatever they can scam from you.
