The driver only had two options. Put chains on or park it. He chose neither so he paid the consequence. There were multiple pull outs he could've safely stopped at.
To clarify things... I am well aware that just because it says 35 mph speed limit doesn't mean he should be going 35. Safe speed depends on road conditions.
Maybe it's just me but if I had 20 cars behind me and there are safe places to pull over, I would pull over and let everyone pass me and then get back on the road, again maybe that's just me.Bud A., allniter, Cowboyrich and 3 others Thank this.
