Planning committee says NO to proposed J.
    Because Flying J is bad.
Mediocre AMBEST at casino is good.
    With 0 wifi.

    I guess.

    wore out Thanks this.

Well its 350 miles of nothing. There's a small truck stop in Las Vegas, NM that has a Chinese place with very limited hours behind it. But it's a place to sleep, so is the AMBEST. I don't think I'd get fuel at either, even though that AMBEST is a bargain after our discount, I've never seen a single truck fuel there, so I'm certain it's the finest high quality diesel. But you get 0 wifi. Lucky if it registers as 3G with 1 bar.
There's much worse places. And I think someone is building a newer one in Las Vegas, but a J would be a nice option.

Best sopappilas and southwestern style food in the world are at the La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe, just off the downtown square. Maybe they wouldn't mind a truck/trailer mosying down there and parking for 30 minutes? Or 10 hours?
