I’ve got a 2025 T880 with a Paccar engine and Allison automatic transmission, sitting at around 120,000 miles. I’ve been trying to sell it for months now with no luck.

I’ve priced it around $200K, which I believe is at or below what the market is going for on comparable trucks. I’m open to reasonable offers, but some of the ones I’ve been getting are ridiculously low.
What am I doing wrong here? Is there something about my listing I should change, or is the market just slow right now? Any advice from anyone who’s sold a truck recently would be appreciated.

You say triaxle which implies it’s a dump. If so what bed, pusher axle, tare weight, steer axle, tires etc?

You could check with MHC in Joplin. They bought my T 880 last month, very quick and easy.
If you tell them what you have, they will give you a number they can pay for it.

doesn’t really matter, it has a pac rat motor In it, anyone that can afford the 200k is just going to spend the extra ~60k to get a new one,

even at 150k, you can still grab a lower mile 00s T800 with a cat in it for that price

Try to find somewhere besides Facebook to sell it.

Facebook has descended into a place where I think there are more people flipping vehicles and buying stuff from auctions and selling than there are actual people buying.

If you know the value of what your truck should go for, I would put it on commercial truck trader or something like that.

    Even Craigslist is better.

    Tri axle doesn't imply dump.

I’d call a dealer that specializes in that type of truck. I sold mine to a used truck dealer. They offered me more than the guys at TruckPaper said I’d ever get for it. Anyone who can finance a $200,000 truck is probably just going to buy new. One advantage a dealer has is they know people looking for that type of truck. They had a guy waiting to buy mine as soon as they bought it from me.

Me too. If it was a tractor it would be called a 4 axle. No one calls a heavy haul tractor a tri axle. Everyone calls it a 4 axle tractor.

Being curious, can I ask why you are selling such a new truck that you probably have to take a hit on? Changing lanes? Being a buyer from dealers and FB. I would be nervous spending that amount for a private sale with such a new truck, like something happened to it. Going through a dealer at least, I would feel I have a bit of recourse if needed. I realize thats not necessarily the case, a dealer will throw the "as is in your face", but it would be easier to offer them a price and ask for some sort of warranty. A Truck paper listing would make you look like a more professional seller
