Every Friday if you manage to see me you will see that I carry a bottle jack in the truck and I'm out there in the parking lot jacking the front end of the truck up and pushing grease to the kingpins
shatteredsquare Thanks this. -
That's one thing with ta they do not check the front end up when they Grease the front end which means you're King Pins aren't getting fully lubricated while they're loaded
-
With volvo i dont thing you should jackem up for greasing. Maybe somebody corect me if im wrong but i think they have king pins made so you dont need to lifted
-
Oh I had an old mechanic who used to be a truck driver he has been driving white Volvo since the 80s and he told me to jack it up to get the lubricant properly inside the Kingpin cavity if I don't have to jack it up that would be awesome because that saves me a lot of work
-
I know its true with diffrent band trucks they need to be in the air but volvo i think is different
-
I would like to find out for certain because I am tired of jacking that thing up I do know it allows for better clearance to get the grease gun in there
-
Like i said maybe somebody here will know for sure how that is
-
