    Tarp-it's a four letter word. Tarping 2 trailers, now that's favorite.:biggrin_25512:

I guess it's hard to catch sarcasm in a post ..... Of course I am going to tarp it, I wouldn't have taken the load if I wasn't going to.

Sorry, my bad. Didn't mean to come across so hard, but it is a reminder, including to myself, that service is the only thing we have to sell. If we don't provide the service wanted, we'll be up that proverbial creek.
BTW, I have seen people do just that, though, plenty of times. Then they wonder why no one will book a good load with them!:biggrin_2556:

I know a few of them drivers. They are the one's who say you can't make any money working at LS.

To be honest, this guy is giving me $200 tarp fee as well, so I feel obligated to get out the ladder LOL

$200 just for top tarp! That ain't bad.
I was working the ladder yesterday, dang load was 7 and a half feet tall, but only a foot wide at the top. Lost count of how many times I was up and down to get mine rolled out so I could spread them. The other drivers were lucky, their loads were only 2 foot tall. Of course I was the shortest driver to show up and got the tallest load. Life can be so cruel!!! LOL

That had to suck. I did the conversion and the 4 pieces I'm getting should only be 2x5.5' tall and 2x3.5' tall. Only 3' wide so if I can set them next to eachother I should be able to use my 24x16 tarp ;)

Well between today and tomorrow we're making 4 pickups all requiring tarps so thats 4 times we'll have to open and close the trailer :biggrin_25520:

Of course the load is paying for tarps but since I'm taking the easy way with my quick-draw I don't get paid for the 3 to 4 minutes it takes to tarp and untarp each stop, guess it's my loss.

Its not all of my doing. Matter of fact very little is a cause of me, I know how to take wide turns...LOL. Besides I'm not the only truck that makes that turn.

Like to see you make that turn with all of them wheels on the ground fully aired up...LOL
