Looking to shop at places other than Walmart when possible. Trader Joe's would be my first choice but I doubt there are any with nearby truck parking.

My contribution will be a Grocery Outlet that opened in Baker City, OR, I-84 exit 304. There's a Chevron next door with truck parking.

I see what you mean, they can't even park a car at the one in Portland...

Lots of retail is now seemingly designed to specifically keep trucks out of the parking lot, even the receiving areas being difficult to get in and out of.
If you’re in WA/OR, what about Fred Meyer? The older, bigger ones should have room, but they’re hit and miss sometimes, too.

Grocery outlet in La Grand has room on the north end of the building as well, so does the Safeway in town. The same two stores are also across the street from each other next to 84 in Pendleton truck parking across from Safeway by the hotel.

I am 100% on board with that notion. Don't have anything against them, but a little imagination can go a long way from getting your truck towed. Walmart just attracts too many trucks/motorists/crazies now, frequently for the wrong purpose.

Oh another one if you're rolling by Walla Walla, Wa. Albertsons is right off of 12 at the Wilbur intersection street parking by the hotel but have grocery store hardware store and a napa all walking distance.

And off subject but there is also a good sit down restaurant in Pasco called Andy's north, not a truck stop but parking close to good food and service with a bar west off 395 at court st.

If you are willing to walk a few blocks in Windsor towards the bridge from Canadian Customs, there is a partiuclarly good market there. Some foods sold there not available in America. And boy what foods.

Our local groceries have been slowly blocking out big rigs. However there is no reason you cannot walk to one. It will be a while.

I have a portable fold up electric bike with a 50 mile per range charge. Clips bags on the side. I shop basically anywhere I want, bike folds up and strapped to the back wall of truck in weather proof container. Barely even notice it’s there. Cost me $1000. Best $1000 I’ve ever spent, how many times do we stop for the night and there’s all kinds of crap to do within about 2 to 3 miles of us at the truckstop but no way to get there. Will guess what? I get there. Lol

Krogers and Brookshires down here in Texas. Always do the polite thing and talk to the person at the customer service desk. Tell them you are parked there, and will be here, grocery shopping. Dome will have you move over to the loading dock area, others will remind you that this time period is for shopping only. Many times if you do a sat map, you will find there is room back by the dock which makes it easier all the way around.
