Anyone know good and safe parking for like a week? I am going to have to find parking 3-4 days every few weeks, anyone know any good and safe places? Even if I have to pay a little?

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

hey did you ever find a place a to park your rig? I live on the n.e. side of 285 too and need to find a place to park for a week when i'm home.

I'm not exactly sure, but you definately need secure parking in the Atlanta area or your trailer will disappear.
The Petro on the NW side, exit 12 has secured paid parking. I would ask the manager first though before dropping. You get 2 hours free parking. So if you bobtail out, the parking lot attendant wouldn't know different and it wouldn't cost you a dime. The same coming back. Drop near the shop.
It might be a little out of your way, but the Cartersville Pilot would be safe. I-75 X296. Again, ask the manager and use a kingpin lock.
Other than that, look for a small local trucking company. Some will help OTR drivers out. I even used a RV storage area before when I lived up in Chicagoland. Cost me $50 a month, but I kept my car there too. You have peace of mind when it's behind a locked fence. If your company has a regular customer nearby, sometimes they will help you out. Even a motel with truck parking might let you park for $10 a night or so.
Avoid places like shopping centers, because you are asking for trouble. Just use your head and you'll find a place with a little searching.
If you are leaving the tractor under it, you can get away with it at the Pilot at the 16, but that would be my last choice. -
I found a place but there is already another may truck.there and not enough room for 3

yeah, @ the petro trucks still get broken into. I did find an RV storage place in Chamblee, but they want 300 a month!!!. guess see what farther north. Thanks!

Might check those storage places out off HWY 316. I would get a phone book and call around. $300 seems way high. I still have three storage units in Florida and combined they do not cost me three hundred every 6 months.

The Pilot at Exit 16, good luck even getting in the drive of that place in the daytime.
You might call some of the diesel repair shops, some might rent parking or know of an area. I know Global Truck Parts rents space on their lot. -
Try coopers gas station/truck stop.they lease space, if I decide to go anywhere ill let you know in pm where I take mine but your skills have to be Sharp, no room for errors in a tidy place.

Thank you all for the feedback. Looks like I got some work ahead of me when i get home.
