    Update...

Schneider Choice continues to be the best option for me based on where I live and the life style I went to live...

Rates on loads I run all the time have come up in the last month...

The amount of freight available has picked up in the areas I like to run...

I continue to work 4-6 days a week and gross between $4000-$5000...

Could I make more elsewhere, maybe...
Would I have to work harder, probably...

I'm good where I'm at right now....

    Roll on...

A friend of mine told me Schneider is making drivers install Cameras and that tech that operates the tractors brakes if something is too close. Is this true, or just driver talk?

Schneider had mandated all trucks leased on must have a crash mitigation system by 2018, but then changed it to 2022. Subject to be changed again....

I have heard nothing about cameras...

    Update....

Worked a total of 8 days in July. Various reasons why I did that....

Been out running since August 1st. Grossed $4400 week one, $5600 week two, week three booked out to start pretty good. Plan on running until labor day....

Considering various options when/if I'll leave. Pros and cons to everything...

    Roll on...

They started to go that way and it turned into a legal thing so that requirement went away last word I heard 2 months.

    SingingWolf and 91B20H8 Thank this.

    Update...

Still with Schneider, working on an exit strategy. Proving to be challenging since I live in the great state of New York...

Just got back to the house after working 5 days grossing $5100 on 2700 miles, so $1.89 all miles. That's all in the Northeast. It's been a while since I've done those kind of numbers, which is the main reason I am leaving...

And now I'm home until Jan 8th or so. Time off for family and the holidays...

Stay safe. And always... Roll on...
