If onwer operators were unaware of this they must live under a ####ing Rock. Maybe some guys will wake up now. Just say no, learn to value your time and effort and know your worth. Brokers don’t need to be regulated by the govt. we’re brokers regulated by the govt in 2014? 2017-2018? Early 2019? No. They realized wow there is a lot of capacity out here, let’s turn the tables. There was major downturn in 2015/2016 and this downturn has been showing its face since late 2018 early 2019. If I’m getting what I need to the truck and a broker is making $2000 off the top, I can careless. I’m getting what I want! So don’t move a load unless you are happy with the rate to the truck and it’s profitable for you and worth your time! Plain and simple!

I will be quite surprised if this is true at all. I said elsewhere me and my wife can rig a dozen of these videos and launch my truck lobby career by tomorrow.

A shipper producing truckloads of freight probably has the brains to keep up with rates. Most would buy their own trucks before paying out that much cash for rag tag bottom of the barrel trucks.
