I just got my Pre-hire approval for Averitt yesterday and need to pick a school in the Atlanta area. I was looking into Daly's, being it is close to home, also it is a three week course. Also had looked into Dekalb Tech, longer class time and may get a grant.
(great, but not a priority as getting to work)

    Questions:
Is it better to take the longer class time or to get driving.

Is Averitt good for a starting company ( training, miles, home time, etc. )

Would it be better to pay for school my self or use Averitt's payback program
( 2 cents less per mile and $150.00 per month )

Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I also posted this in my earlier post about Schools in Atlanta ( sorry ) but I hoped to get a little more feed back from others.

If you can afford to pay for the school yourself then i would suggest doing that, if you get company paid training will have to sign a contract with them, and if you leave your job or get fired for any reason you will have to pay that money back, paying for it yourself gives you ALOT more freedom
